Dr. Summer's passion for learning and dedication to service fueled her desire to pursue a career in dentistry from Peking University, one of the most prestigious dental schools in China. After graduating dental school at the top of her class, she accomplished her specialization in Periodontology in 2011 from Peking University. Since then, Dr. Summer’s diverse experiences have included, clinical research, teaching periodontology, practicing general dentistry and periodontics in private practice.
In pursuit of a new challenge, Dr. Summer Xia DDS decided to move to California and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California San Francisco in 2016. She has received high honors in all of her accomplishments. Summer Xia D.D.S decided to continue improving the community with her talent in dentistry and together with Daniel Ramirez D.D.S formed Dream Dental in San Francisco, Parkside.
Dr. Summer Xia D.D.S is devoted to providing leading dental care procedures in a relaxed and comfortable environment while utilizing state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and materials. When Dr. Summer Xia is not volunteering her time, she enjoys spending time with her son, playing piano, hiking, and traveling the world. Her most recent adventure was a month long trip to Western Europe where she traveled to over seven countries.

Daniel Ramirez D.D.S
Dr. Daniel Ramirez was born and raised in San Diego, California. He is the oldest of three siblings. He attended the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), graduating with two Bachelors of Science degrees, Psychology and Biology. Throughout his education he was always recognized for his academic achievements, graduating from educational institutions with honors. After achieving one of his lifelong dreams of being accepted to University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Dr. Ramirez moved to San Francisco, California. Earning his Doctor Dental Surgery, (D.D.S), from UCSF. While at UCSF, he was recognized for his linguistic abilities, philanthropic achievements, and service to patients with mental/physical disabilities.
Dr. Ramirez primary mission is delivering unforgettable dental experiences for patients from all walks of life. Dr. Ramirez accomplishes this by attentively listening to his patients needs and creates a customized treatment plan to fit the needs of each patient. His treatment philosophies prioritize patient comfort and experience basing all treatment decisions on evidence-based research.
Dr. Daniel Ramirez is passionate about serving the community and eliminating barriers to dental care. Toward that end, Dr. Daniel has positive contributed to public health causes by integrating in mobile dentistry and tele-health as a bi-lingual dentist to help those less fortunate.
